JM Musique

For years, I searched for a way to integrate my passion for music creation into my career as a producer and marketing editor.

A Night-and-Weekend Passion

For a long time, I had two parallel lives, working behind a screen by day, and composing, mixing, and recording music by night. I still practice singing and phrasing outdoors, in parks and fields, just to avoid driving my neighbors crazy.

Especially during the interpretation phase of a song, when phrasing and articulation are being fine-tuned, I might repeat a single line 60 different ways over 10 minutes to get the emotion just right. Going through an entire song this way? Let's just say it's not the most peaceful afternoon for anyone nearby!

As you might imagine, this creative journey has been a part-time pursuit, sometimes put on hold for months, especially during the pandemic. Some of my songs date back to 1998 through 2006, and many remain unmixed or unvoiced to this day.

The Arrival of JM Musique

Now based in Québec City, I’ve brought all of that musical experience with me — not just as a personal archive, but as a professional asset for businesses. JM Musique offers original, made-in-Québec musical tracks, designed to help companies enhance their marketing content: ad campaigns, videos, social media clips, or even podcast intros.

To launch the project on the right foot, I established it as a formal audio production company, then officially founded JM Musique on July 2, 2024. The website went live just 12 days later: www.jmmusique.com.

Do you like the brand and mission? Check out the JM Musique logo and visual identity online.

Enjoy your reading — and here’s to a productive month ahead.
