Managing Content and Social Media - September 2025 Editorial
A strategic and human approach to social media in 2025: plan, create, and grow with authenticity and organization.
Managing Content and Social Media
Build your presence with structure and passion
When I started my first communication studies back in the 1990s, social media didn’t exist yet. The web was still under construction, and digital tools were in their infancy.
Then came Facebook, followed by Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and many others. With each new platform came an opportunity to learn, explore… and sell. That’s when I fell in love with this medium: alive, immediate, and deeply human.
Since 2005, I’ve been managing professional social media accounts. I help businesses — often in their early stages — shape their digital identity and structure their first social presence.
Behind every post: structure and intention
Managing social media goes far beyond posting a photo or a caption. It’s a complete discipline that includes:
researching trends and relevant information,
writing articles, business presentations, portfolios, and social blurbs,
scheduling promotional campaigns and events,
analyzing market positioning and competition,
optimizing content with SEO for better organic visibility,
designing visuals to ensure each message is showcased properly across all formats.
Every word, every image, every link is intentional.
My background in traditional communications taught me a core principle: content must be researched, verified, and verifiable. It’s a standard I apply rigorously to everything I produce — whether for the web or social media.
Structure for greater reach
Throughout my daily work in writing and content management, one thing remains clear: organization is key.
A good digital content manager anticipates, plans, and adapts. They work with a long-term promotional plan in mind — one that aligns with the company’s cycles, seasons, events, and strategic goals.
This plan doesn’t have to be rigid. It should leave room for flexibility, spontaneity, and inspiration. But it provides a solid framework that allows creativity to thrive without losing direction.
Create. Share. Connect. With authenticity.
Social media keeps evolving. Tools change. But the essence stays the same: creating sincere, valuable, and professional content to build lasting connections with your audience.
Managing your content and campaigns with method and passion may be one of the most rewarding challenges of modern digital communication.
In this issue of The Monthly Ticket, I invite you to explore how to build your own annual promotion plan — and how to shape a strong, coherent, and vibrant digital presence.
Wishing you a great month ahead,
Jeff
